Anxiety Therapy in Amersham & Online
Feeling stuck in worry, tension or fear?
You don’t have to face it alone.
Anxiety can show up in many ways: persistent worry, chest tightness when you try to relax, a drop in confidence, or a constant sense of being on edge. Sometimes you may feel like you shouldn’t be anxious—or you can’t quite put your finger on why you feel this way. Either way, it’s real, and you’re not alone.
You lead. I’m here with you.
As a person-centred therapist based in Amersham (Buckinghamshire), I believe you are the expert on your life. You already have inner wisdom and strength – you may just have lost touch with it. My role is to create a safe, kind and curious space where you can reconnect with yourself and explore what’s really going on.
I don’t aim to ‘fix’ you or force change. Instead, we’ll walk gently alongside your experience while you rediscover your voice, your voice, and a way forward that feels genuinely right for you.
What our work together might look like
In therapy, we might:
- Explore what your anxiety is signalling _ what it might be protecting you from.
- Identify patterns, thoughts or feelings that keep you stuck.
- Help you reconnect with yourself, even when life feels unpredictable.
- Allow you to be truly seen, heard and accepted, in your own time and at your own pace.
- Support you to connect more deeply with what matters to you, not just what you think you should want.
This isn’t a quick fix. It’s gentle, attentive work: slowing down, tuning in and gradually building trust in yourself, and in the process.
Is this for you?
This work may help if you:
- Constantly worry with ‘what if…?’ thoughts and struggle to switch off.
- Feel frequent tension, dread or panic that interferes with daily life.
- Sense you’re out of touch with yourself — your values, your purpose, or what you want.
- Are stuck in cycles of self-criticism, expectation, or self-judgement.
- Long to feel calmer, more grounded, and more like your true self.
If that sounds like you, you deserve support – not just to survive anxiety, but to learn how to live alongside it with self-trust, confidence and growing freedom.
